last day of radiation!

Thursday was the last day of radiation...yahoo!!! This picture is of us standing at the check-in where we scanned Jim's green card to sign in every day so it was kind of exciting. It turns out it was an eventful last radiation treatment. Global News was able to arrange everything with the PR people from Princess Margaret Hospital to allow them to come and film. They filmed us walking down the hall to the waiting area (not that exciting...Jim and I both said after we forgot to suck it in, LOL). They got some great footage of Jim getting set up in the radiation room on the bed and having the mask put on and all of that and then filmed the radiation therapists (yes, I found out they are not called tech's, they are radiation therapists) do the computer work while he was in the room. Unfortunately they had computer problems nad had to re-boot a couple times so Jim was probably in there twice as long, poor guy. Anyways, the producer of the story seemed happy with what they got. They are also coming to our house on Friday to interview us and film us in our home environment. Em is taking the day off school so she can be there as well.
Jim got to bring home his mask as a "souvenir" too. We don't need to go back down there until the end of May for MRI and appointment with doctor so good-bye hospital for a little while!
